Invermere Valley Echo, December 26, 2007 2007 in Review — May By Ian Cobb Fairmont Hot Springs Resort (FHSR) was granted a one-year extension by the Regional District of East Kootenay in order to achieve the best possible solution to the District Lot 48 issue. Noting that a “win-win solution” remains the resort’s and First Nations’ goal, FHSR representative Peter Mulyk said a one-year extension would allow for the realization of a “fair and equitable compensation resolution for the owner." 2007 in Review — December Ken Fowler Enterprises, owners of Fairmont Hot Springs Resort, announced Dec. 11 it had purchased Riverside Golf Course from Don Seable.
