Calgary Herald, June 21, 2008 Vineyards uncorked By Marty Hope
Vineyards uncorked The Rise golf and winery resort near Vernon, B.C., is expanding its vineyards and hopes to complete planting 22,000 vines by the end of June. The Cellars at The Rise is the winery and vineyards for the master-planned resort community featuring a Fred Couples Signature Golf Course, private lakeside beach club and several neighbourhoods of homes and sites. A course dedication with Fred Couples was being held on June 18. This month, further details about the first new release of home sites since 2006 will be announced.
